Who can become a mentor with BW Empowerment?
We welcome experienced executives, directors, and senior leaders across all industries who are passionate about developing others. If you've led teams, navigated complex career moves, or built leadership skills others can learn from, you're likely a great fit.
How much time does mentoring require?
We respect your time. Mentors typically meet with their matched mentee 1–2 times per month over a 3- to 6-month period. We also provide tools and suggested agendas to make the experience meaningful and efficient.
How are mentees matched with me?
Matches are based on aligned industries, values, leadership goals, and areas of expertise. You’ll complete a short intake form, and we use that information to make intentional, thoughtful pairings, not random assignments.
What kind of support will I receive as a mentor?
You’re not doing this alone. We provide a mentor guide, conversation prompts, optional check-in sessions, and a direct line to the BW Empowerment team for support. We want this to be a rewarding experience for you, too.
Is this a paid mentorship program?
While this isn’t a full-time coaching or consulting role, mentors do receive an honorarium as a gesture of appreciation for their time and expertise. Many of our mentors choose to accept it, while others elect to donate it to a nonprofit or cause they care about. Either way, we believe in recognizing the value mentors bring to the BW Empowerment community.
What happens after I sign up?
Once you complete the interest form, our team will review your profile and follow up with next steps. If selected, you’ll be matched with a mentee and provided everything you need to begin the journey confidently.
